First off, this website is not hosted on my server yet. Before I try to embed an episode into my Podcrafter template I( as well as my developer) needs to know exactly how& where to place the embed code. I could use a Buzzsprout player, but it won't have the same look as the player that comes with the theme, right?
If the Podcrafter player uses the RSS Feed , is this entered in the WP settings to update my site with new episodes? is there a plugin already installed? how do I edit the SEO titles/ meta descriptions for each page?
I have added some episodes from my Buzzsprout account, but a) it does not have the look of the Podcrafter player, and b) the info from Buzzsprout has not been updated on closertovenus.com. My developer tells me the RSS fied has been imported. Does he need a plugin of some sort? What are we doing wrong?

The second episode( Jewel in the Robe" is not updated - click on each episode on my Buzzsprout account and you'll see what I mean. I just changed the thumbnail image and some verbiage on " The Butterfly Effect" file, on Buzzsprout and it's not updating on closertovenus.com
Since the episode is already imported, it wont be reimported or updated if you change something in your buzzsprout account. Only the audio is played directly from your media hosting. The post title, images and post content are imported directly in your website's database. If you want to update something there, you need to edit your episode on your website directly.

Image not setting as featured image for the episodes getting imported using podbean's RSS feed. The images are imported to the media library but dont show up of the the episode player. Have to manually set the featured image to individual podcast episodes. We tried this on Buzzsprout and Podbean- same problem. I like your theme, but unless you have a fix before my "trail period" is up, I will need a refund.. or a theme that will work..
This is because the image name that is being imported from buzzsprout or podbean has the exact same filename so its getting overwrited by wordpress. Unfortunately, wordpress has no control over this so you need to contact buzzsprout to fix this issue on their end.
You will have same issue with any wp themes.
If you want to proceed with a refund, please delete the theme, theme layouts and plugins that came with the theme from your server and computer. When it's done, let me know and I'll proceed with the refund.
kill it- your them has issues with both hosts and I dont have the time to argue- even my developer is annoyed AF. I will let you know when I delete the theme unless I get a solution by tomorrow. JMFC

We don't have a link that past episode details into the Sonaar theme's player. Im not sure how their player works but all the information for the episode is available for them through the RSS feed. Everything they need to populate any field will be contained there.

So if there is already an image set in your media library with the same name than your first episode's image name, it wont get imported. Make sure to delete the image in the media library first.
For the other episode, its normal that there is no featured image because no image is set on the buzzsprout site for that episode.
The only reference I have is that RSS feed. If you have other RSS feed, that might be a different story but you will have to send me the correct RSS feed.

We usually dont work on weekend. Our support is from monday to friday from 9ham to 6hpm.

Would love to assist here but the image names are set directly within Buzzsprout and we cant change their name from the wordpress theme.
