1) This has just been fixed within the latest update. Please update your theme: How do I update my theme ?
2) You cannot have a call to action button within the event listing at this time. I will add this to our roadmap but i don't have a date when this should be available. If you don't want to shows up any artist name in the event list, you can simply dont add any artist to your Event and no artist will shows up.

Thanks, Maxime! Bummer about the CTA button but I'll keep using my cheat for the moment then I guess.
I might keep trying to see if there's anyway for me to modify the php on my end to get the event cta info instead of the artist.
