Seems like your wordpress doesn't have permission to delete the previous folder. Can you delete the folder manually by ftp or file manager?
Also, perhaps your server memory reach its max limit by the time to completely install the plugin. Please ask your hosting provider to raise the memory limit and max execution time to 600.
If it does not work, please provide me access to your wp-admin and ftp.
ive downloaded all the plug ins except for slider revolution . it wont even download

when i delete it manually how do i re install an up to date version?
You go to wp-admin > appearance > plugins.
