Demo imports are AMAZING!! I redoing my first client site w your insane Sonaar (built some test demos and theme is amazing!) but was hoping a way to not get all content overwritten as I am redesigning the site but the pages and audio and video and images will be the same (I did an all in one migration of recklessinvegas.com into by demo and hosting to redesign and update the overall site style with your awesome theme)
We have created the one-click install to help people to get started the fastest as we could when using a new themes' demo. Its why we swap everything by the theme's demo to avoid confusion.
However, there is a way to keep you actual content, et to import the theme's demo manually. This is done with different steps. You will need to import the theme's dummy content (XML), import the theme's option, import the rev sliders, import the ess grids. So 4 steps are required. We've setup a screencast about it.
