Slider image sizing issue

When using the media library option for a background, I am finding that the size is not adjustable -- no matter what resize I make, the size of the image is the same.

Any idea on how to adjust the revolution slide using the Main Background image option?

    Hello Peter,

The background image file is alway the same. We dont have the option to change it on a small device.

I think you are asknig this because the image is croped on small device.

What you should do is to set the background to contin rather than cover.
And add this color as the background #b20000.

By the way you should use JPG rather than a PNG. PNG is too much heavy.

    Thanks,

    Hi, Alex --

Thanks for the follow-up and I agree regarding using.JPG, or even GIF over a .png for better bandwidth performance (will do).

I am using the Karbone template and want to change the background image from the slider; however, whenever I replace the image with mine, the sizes are all the same on the desktop -- even if I shrink the image down. I can try to use the "add object" >> "image" method, but then I have to recalibrate the text for mobile.

(see example for what I mean -- you'll notice that the pictures are too large).

    Hi.

You cant change the background image  on each device.

A image background will be always coped when the area doesnt have the same size ratio.
It s impossible to display a whole rectanglar picture in a square window. Some part have to be hided.

You can try to select in the slider settings "fullwith " rather than "fullscreen"

But I not sure this will be enough.

What you should do, and I m talking about the fisrt slide, you should add the "depo" logo image as a layer. And  only apply a red color on the background.

    Thanks,
