Probably that the first time you installed the plugin, the installation has not completed, thus, WordPress is not able to delete the existing js_composer folder to reinstall it.
What you need to do is to manually delete the folder js_composer (which is located in wp-content/plugins/ and install WPBakery again by going to wp-admin > appearance > install plugin)
you can delete the folder either by FTP or the filemanager in your cpanel.

I try a couple of times to install and delete and install and activate the demo import plugins but it still doesn't work.
And I am not very happy to try the manuel option :(.
