If we are using the Mandala theme, but really like the way the Podcast "episodes" section is and would like to incorporate the same style into a section of our Mandala theme, are we able to do so? If so, can you tell us how to go about doing so?

Are you refering to the podcast section/episode in our podcastr theme? (eg: https://demo.sonaar.io/podcastr-elementor/podcast/episode-04-everything-you-say-is-great/)
are you planing to use it for your podcast or for music?

The podcast custom post type is not intended to play music. only podcast. you can add your podcast episode by going to wp-admin > Episode > Add new
