Hi guys! Somehow I can't make my audio player to sound when using Samsung Internet browser. It works with Chrome, but not on that one. Any idea?

Could you have a look using that browser for me please?

Do you have the same issue with our theme's demo on our website?

    eg: https://demo.sonaar.io/apex-elementor/

    Thanks,

Wow, I don't. Well, it takes long to load the songs of your demo using Samsung Internet Browser, (that long that you may thing it doesn't work after a while) but I can hear them. What could be the issue? I am using regular mp3 files.

Perhaps your audio encoding? Im not an audio engineer, but maybe you can compare our file with your file? I have attached it to this thread.

    Thanks,

Thank you Maxime, I'll compare both files, yours and any of mine, and will try to find the encoding differences. I'll let you know it I find out anything interesting.

Maxime, I did compare both files, and they look exactly the same in terms os quality, bitrate and codecs used. Please see attachments.

Only thing I've made related to plugins is updating Elementor and adding Elementor Pro, installed WP Rocket (which is now disabled), and installed Premium Addons from Elementor to create the homepage background slider. Apart from that, the theme is like out of the box. Well, I disabled real time audio wave to improve speed, but that's all.

    Really worried about this :(.

seems an issue that affect only your track with samsung Internet browser. this is very specific.

Have you tried with another browser to see if the issue is not related with your tracks instead of the browser?

    Thanks,

  • Rubén replied

Yes, I did actually. Chrome works fine. Opera works fine. It has to be something related to Samsung Internet browser. Well, let's hope my client don't use this browser :S. I do not have iPhone, would it be possible for you to try the website on Safari for Iphone? On Mac's safari runs perfect.

    Thanks in advance.

Whats the version of your android?

    is it up to date?

    Thanks,

  • Rubén replied

    Yes, totally updated I guess.

Android Pie (9.0), Huawei P20 Pro, Samsung Internet Browser up to date (version 8.2.01.2).

  • Rubén replied

Anyway Maxime, dont waste time on this. I think it may be related to the browser obviously. My biggest worry is to check if it works on safari's iPhone, I think is the most used browser apart from Chrome.
