The problem is that although I have published content in the second category (this activating the feed) and ticked the "Block this episode from appearing in iTunes and Google Play" button, feed number two is seemingly appearing in iTunes, Stitcher, Google and everywhere else. I've attached a picture of the Apple Podcasts app where only the main feed URL was submitted but both are showing.
Is there a way of fixing this so that only people who have the second category RSS feed actually get the second category RSS feed?
Hello Ed, Sorry for the wait. I dont have the answer yet. Maxime, who is specialized about RSS feed is not available right now. I will contact you back soon as possible
I'm currently in Africa and I don't have access to my computer (currently on mobile). I'll check the issue you have as soon as I get back in town at the end of next week.
To be honest this is really frustrating. I will once again be posting two shows into one feed this week. It's not good, especially with 20k listeners. I think a template/framework that's aimed at podcasters should be able to support multiple shows.
Is there anything published anywhere on the site I can use to check what's going on?
Hi Maxime,
I'm having trouble with RSS feeds.
I would like to have two RSS feeds - one that will is submitted to every platform, iTunes, Google Podcasts, Stitcher and so on.
The other one is private, only for people I give the RSS link to.
I have set up two Podcast Categories. "Rant Cast" and "RC Backers Content". I have assigned different slugs for these categories.
Using the standard format the RSS feeds should be:
1) www.unitedrant.co.uk/feed/podcast/
2) www.unitedrant.co.uk/feed/podcast/?terms=backer
The problem is that although I have published content in the second category (this activating the feed) and ticked the "Block this episode from appearing in iTunes and Google Play" button, feed number two is seemingly appearing in iTunes, Stitcher, Google and everywhere else. I've attached a picture of the Apple Podcasts app where only the main feed URL was submitted but both are showing.

Your help is very much appreciated.
Ed

Hi Ed,
Im back and ready to check into your issue more carefully.
Could you please give me an example of an episode that appear in iTunes while it should not?
Thanks,
