I love the sales integration and info that your template has set up, however for my current needs I want to simplify this. In addition to the home page carousel/slider, I want to have a "listen page" with the album covers in the filter grid form and a hover play button on each album cover. However when you click play on an album, it does not just open a music player, it takes you to another page with more info on the album (lyrics, other tracks, etc) Which I don't need.
I'm not exactly sure how your playlists work, but this is what I'm trying to accomplish: We are a newly formed production team that wants to feature our combined works on this page. We want to feature a songs by artists we've worked with and now that I'm thinking about it, It might be better to just use the artist photos instead of the album covers. I already have an order I'd like to set them in ( I can sort by changing the publishing date). There might be 1-3 artists which will have more than one song.
I had a similar question about the artist page and I got it working exactly how i want it now. You had me uncheck a link in the ess grid settings and it's perfect now (https://subrosaaudio.com/artists/).
What's the best route to take with the playlists?

Hi, If I understand well your needs, you dont need single artist pages and single playlist pages. You want a Artist Grid to feature one song or playlist for each artsit.
So dont use the artist post. Use the playlist post only. One playlist per artist. The playlist name will be the playlist artist. And use the artist picture as the playlist featured image.
The artist is showing twice because the grid skin display the playlist title and the artist name. You have to remove one of them. Please go to wp-admin>ess grid>item skin editor And edit the "sonaar-music" skin. https://d.pr/free/i/uFbkSt

If I understand well your needs, you dont need single artist pages and single playlist pages.
You want a Artist Grid to feature one song or playlist for each artsit.

You should use the grid "music grid click and play".
To add filter, you have to edit the grid and select "nav-filter-sort".
