2 questions that I have not been able to find an answer to yet.

Is there a way to have events identified as cancelled? It would be nice to have a check box or something so the event will show the word "Cancelled" next to the event in the list widget.

Along those same lines if I have a canceled event I would like to have some extra details on the event page. I would likely want to have this available on all events not just cancelled ones. I did notice that there is a section in the event creation/edit page where I can add text but it does not show on the individual event page display by default. I was able to add the entered text by editing each individual event in Elementor but that really seems like a painful and unnecessary way to accomplish this. Any Ideas?

    Hi there,

To identify your events as cancelled, I suggest that you add a call to action button called "cancelled" without any link on it. see screenshot: https://d.pr/i/r3D0yo

You can also remove the buttons" More Info" in wp-admin > Audio Players & Event Settings > Events > https://d.pr/i/5SVWtB

I dont understand what you mean here: 'I did notice that there is a section in the event creation/edit page where I can add text but it does not show on the individual event page display by default."

What doesnt work exactly by "but it does not show on the individual event page display by default" ? Can you send me screenshot so I can understand a bit more?

Ahh ok... that should work for the need for cancelled events.

Please see the attached screen shots. The only way that the text shows up, even though it is visible in Elementor when I open it the first time, is if I open the page in Elementor make some small change and then click Update.

The informations you see on this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/yonA4B are pulled either from the custom fields, see screenshot: https://d.pr/i/5SPVrV or from the text area...simply dont use the text area if you dont want additional info there since its already in the custom fields.

I do want to use the the text area but if you look at the "Live page" screenshot I posted that is what I see when I navigate to the event. When I edit the event in Elementor I see what is in the "EL Edit Page" screenshot.

The only way so far I have been able to have the event page show the text area content is to make any small edit in Elementor on the specific event and pushing the Update.

    Hi,

Ok after investigating, the issue is not really only affecting the event custom post page. It affects all your text editor anywhere in your website. (such as the blog post or standard page post)

I have also activated 2 default WordPress themes (eg: twenty fifteen) and the problem still appear. No text is thrown on the front-end.

Please contact your web hosting and tell them that there is an issue even with a default WordPress theme activated.

    Thanks,
