Hi, i purchased your theme mostly for its awesome music player. I wanted to have a player that shows the waveforms of my tracks. I see now that the waveforms are fake, the don't represent each track's waveform but they are like an image, the waveforms are the same on every track. Do i need to fix something or your player just can't show real waveforms?
If you talk about the waveform in the continuous FOOTER player, it's not possible to show real waveform because it takes too much ressource. Let me explain. If we want to show real waveform, the user will have to "download" the file first in the backend, then the script will generate a waveform, then the song will be able to play. The big downside is that people will have to download the song BEFORE showing the waveform so the waveform wont show up immediately. Also, on mobile it generates useless bandwidth usage...
So that said, It will result in a very poor UX.
What we did instead is generate a random waveform. The waveform is different on every tracks tho.
Thanx for the answer. Is there any possibilities to make it like this? I mean like beatport.com, traxsource.com etc. How do they have waveforms for all tracks without user downloading as you say.
These are generated from their backend servers. It would not works with our library and the majority of the end user's server. People would have to install a special library on their server and 95% of our users would not know how. Implementing such feature would be very tech-savvy. If you are looking for this kind of solution, I recommend that you check with a WordPress developer to develop a custom solution to suits your need.
It's cheap! And the cool thing is that if you are not satisfied with their service Stephen, or they don't meet your guidelines, you will get your money back ! It's 100% guaranteed.

Hi, i wish that you could include this feature in your theme. Anyways, can you please recommend a developer who can do this for me? Than you.
For custom works, we strongly recommend these guys: WP Kraken - https://sonaar.io/go/wpkraken
