    I have received the following error message after installing Sonaar from scratch

    The theme has been installed.

    After this, I have just went to theme options » Dashboard to registrate the licence key and received the following error message:

    Hi Jose, 
    This will be fixed in the next theme update. 
    But for now you can activated the sonaar child theme to fix this.

    When would you expect to release the theme update?

    In the meanwhile how should I proceed to activate the child theme?

    If I activate the child theme, what will happen when the theme is updated?

    The Child theme will not affect at all your site. No worries. You can keep it activated forever.

    I have installed and activated the child theme.

    The theme option are not being applied to the website.

    For instance I have chosen black background but it appears white.

    Could you please help ?

    The theme option still applied. But now, the background is set to white. See here:

    I dont understand why the background setting have been changed. The child theme activation should not do that. I hope it is the only setting to have been changed.

    When I child theme is activate, the parent theme still used. You can update sonaar theme when the child theme is activated without any issue.

    I dont understand,
    If you go to wp-admin>theme options>look and feel
    You will see the background is set to white

    I don't understand also... I see the main background set to black...
