I'm trying to edit the size of font, general layout/color, and spacing of my main menu. when I attempt to do that at the theme options/menu options page (I've provided a link), after I save my changes, nothing happens. I'm curious if there's a default box I've selected somewhere that's keeping my changes from happening or something?

The theme options are saved dynamically. Your server does not interpret our dynamic style sheet as a regular stylesheet : https://d.pr/i/vUAniS
A work around is to move the dynamic style sheet to External Style sheet: https://d.pr/i/TnBUOL
I have enabled it for you.
The advantage of this feature: It will speed up your website since it will looks for the external css file only and will not do a DB request.
The disavantage: you will have to clear your browser cache everytime you make a change in the Theme Options.
