WhenI originally set up this site last year, everything worked fine. I got an email today from a prospective client who was browsing the site and couldn't listen to the audio clips. I went tho the site (on several computers AND my iPhone) and sure enough, when you click play for any audio clip: NOTHING HAPPENS.

I double checked all of the links to audio files and they work fine. Please help!!

    Hi Brian,

Access to audio at 'http://storage.googleapis.com/studio-reels/scc_caa_let_everybody_shout.mp3' from origin 'http://secretcovestudios.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

The mp3 host server used here http://secretcovestudios.com/playlist/christian/ doesnt allow your site to stream from there. If you can contact them, please ask for more permission. Maybe the best way for you is to move all tracks to another server.

    Thanks,

I'm not sure what you mean by this. I'm streaming from my Google storage account (I pay them for storage & bandwidth, not using the free G-Drive account) The link for this particular mp3 file is https://storage.googleapis.com/studio-reels/scc_caa_let_everybody_shout.mp3 if you want to see where it comes from.

(All of my files come from that same spot on the server / same folder. Only thing that changes in the URL syntax is the file name for each mp3.)

This method also works on other sites where I push audio content out using other types of site players.

This worked perfectly when I installed this theme and set the site up. Worked for a long while. What changed and how do I fix this?

    Thanks,
    B

In fact we can stream but some scripts doesnt work anymore. Why now? Maybe Google storage have changed its policy. The faster way to fix this is to go to wp-admin>theme options>general setting
    And disable REAL-TIME SPECTRUM
    https://d.pr/free/i/G02TPT
This should fix the issue, but the player will display a random wave. If you need a real sync wave, you have to contact Google storage. They have to allow your url in their CORS policy. Or move all mp3 to another server.

Looks like I got that CORS set up correctly. Things are playing just fine now.

Only other thing I need right now is to fix the problem in my other trouble ticket (the one below)

Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home2/studiobs/public_html/wp-content/themes/sonaar/includes/sonaar-music/includes/advanced-custom-fields/core/api.php on line 40

Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home2/studiobs/public_html/wp-content/themes/sonaar/includes/sonaar-music/includes/advanced-custom-fields/core/fields/_functions.php on line 80

    Thanks for all your help!
