Hi, I am using the soundman template and trying to replace the sonaar youtube channel in the youtube grid by my youtube channel and my playlist, getting a channel ID from my youtube account was easy but I am stuck with the API Key.
The API Console is brand new and everything that is on the support page you provided are not accurate anymore, I am a bit lost I think I managed to get a API key but when I replaced your api key with mine in the Ess.grid it says "AJAX could not fetch the playlist." Does it have anything to do with the fact that my API key is restricted?

hi Alexandre, correct, since google changed The design of the API console they also changed the menu on the left which has new features, therefore the info provided on that page are not up to date neither the video tutorial...

Is there any way you can help out to make sense of that new api console? I am not a developper i have minimum clue in how to do it without proper tutorial...

Thanks for your help, I followed your instructions, then I went back to Ess.Grid in the Dashboard, updated my api key but it still says the same error the AJAX could not fetch the playlist...

Do I have to do anything more with the API on the API console?

Actually I gave up with the API thing, and instead, in the Essential grid, I use the "Custom grid" function instead of "Stream" and it does exactly what I want it to do.

sorry to bother you again, it looks like the grid I created using the "Custom grid" instead of "stream", doesn't work as expected...
when I click on a video link it opens the video on youtube instead of opening it on my site in the lightbox.
Is there a way to fix that? I Would like to have my video open in the box on my website the same way it works on the sonaar soundman template "videos - youtube" page, all the videos open on the site, we are not redirected to youtube...

I am afraid you are gonna say the only way is to use the "Stream" feature of the grid which will bring back my problem again, in which case I will give you my wp-admin credentials.
