Sonaar Interferes with Powerpress Feed

I am in a slight bind. I, as you know from previous interactions, purchased Sonaar with the intent of using the audio player as my web player; however, I didn't realize it wasn't built in that way and I cannot just drop in an mp3 as I do with other podcast plugins. That the only way I can do it is to move everything over to your podcast Custom Post Type.

Unfortunately for me, there are over 100 episodes and it doesn't appear there is an easy way for me to switch over without manually moving everything, especially since both are on the same website.

Which brings me to my biggest issue... Sonaar is messing up my Blubrry Powerpress feed. It has somehow added spaces to the XML code which breaks my code in Apple Podcasts.

I have already built my new site around your theme. Is there anyway to stop the Sonaar Podcast Feed from interfering with Blubrry?

Or is there any easy way to move all of my episodes to Sonaar so that I can shut down Blubrry Powerpress plugin?

Right now the XML is broken and feed validators won't recognize it.

    Hi,

Where are all your episode hosted currently? If they are hosted on another server and you got the rss feed, you can import the rss feed directly into our Custom post type and then shutdown PP plugin. here some doc about this:

How to import your podcast from a RSS Feed

Keep your podcast and RSS feed synchronized with your existing hosting

Won't work. The podcast feed XML is messed up because of the Sonaar interference with Blubrry Powerpress. The podcast is hosted on the same website... hence the problem I am having. The episodes themselves are on an S3 server.

The feed is messed up because Blubrry Powerpress and Sonaar are competing against each other. If I ditch Sonaar to a regular theme the XML feed is fixed. So whatever Sonaar is doing to the RSS feed is screwing things up.

It appears in order to get this to work I will have to ditch Sonaar, which is a shame. I don't know what is causing the interference with the feed.

I figured out how to get around the issue. I disabled the theme, then downloaded the XML file that is in good shape and ftp'd it to my server.

From there I re-enabled the theme and used the good version of the XML file to import all of the podcast settings.

Now I need to figure out why everything is slightly off, but that just seems like cleanup.

    Hi,

we have just added an option in our theme to disable the rss feed generated by Sonaar. We will push an official update within the next 2 weeks. In the meantime, here is the update.

See screenshot of where to find this new option: https://d.pr/i/pve7CF

The update of the theme is available here: https://d.pr/f/z23wxw Simply delete your current theme and reupload this one.

    Thanks,
