Thanks, yes... that seemed to be the problem. It was strange to me that Essential Grid was deactivated when doing the last update, and didn't show in the list of plugins with updates available. Regardless, after an update it reactivated itself, and is now displaying properly. Thank you!

from what i see/understand, essential grid plugin does not seem activated.
