The second issue that I'm having is that I can't seem to get the music player to appear or play anything on the page. I have gone to settings and tried to import a Spotify song with a URL but nothing happens when I open the site.
Ok event page can now be edited. the issue was because it was set as a event list template and not a default page in page attribute. you should be fine now.
for the theme option save, it should also work. I deactivate the plugin Page Optimize which was preventing you to save the option. I dont recommend that you use this plugin

Could you please provide a login credential to the wp-admin, we will gladly check for the "expired" issue.
About the second issue, the sonaar player cant play songs from spotify. Only MP3 files are allowed.
