The artists page don't come up as a regular page if you go to the READING menu and try to make an artist's page into a home page. So... Right now, I'm just forwarding the domain to that specific artist's page as a test.
So, in a nutshell all I'm asking is, when I create and artist page, how can I make that my home page? If possible at all.
My umm was refering to something like: "I don't really know whats happenning here, its the first time i read something like this, and I'd like to check what's wrong", sorry if I used a shortcutand for the unprofessional way to start the conversation. Sorry for the confusion as well.
My goal is to fix the issue as quickly as possible.
I can't seems to reproduce the issue on my local server. That's why I was asking for credentials.
Ok, I understand now. You want to set a single artist page (which is a custom post ) as your homepage. WordPress does not have this ability through its setting options. You will have to customize it through PHP. I don't think I'm having an issue on my side. I have an artist page and all I need to do is know, is how to make it my home page, that's all.
