Hi there, I am using amazon S3 to host my mp3 files. Ive made sure that the files are public, but some of the playlists im creating with your plugin wont load the files.
One thing i noticed is that when inputting mp3 file URLs in the admin, if there are any symbols stand-ins such as "%26", then your plugin strips that out after saving, and it breaks the URL.
Example:
Before saving: https://pathwey.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/Music/MP3s/Detox+Unit+%26+Hullabalo0+-+Whatchu+Need+(Iyakuh+%26+Pathwey+Remix).mp3
After saving: https://pathwey.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/Music/MP3s/Detox+Unit++Hullabalo0+-+Whatchu+Need+(Iyakuh++Pathwey+Remix).mp3
I played with the files, by removing any of those extra symbols, but im still not having much luck getting the file to work.
As you can see, the MP3 plugin strips out the "%26" in the second half of the URL, which is why it wont play.
I know the workaround, but its a big hassle to have to rename every file so that there are no special symbols such as "&", which is very common in music. Especially for my clients - i imagine them having issues with this in the future once i hand over the site, unless this can get resolved.

Some files work, like this one: https://pathwey.flywheelsites.com/music/pathwey-the-color-of-water-feat-black-fox/
But this one won't work: https://pathwey.flywheelsites.com/music/detox-unit-hullabalo0-watchu-need-iyakuh-pathwey-remix/

For instance, i changed the above file example so that the URL is now: https://pathwey.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/Music/MP3s/Whatchu+Need.mp3
When pasting that in to the sonaar plugin, its still not working.
Any idea whats going on?
As you can see by clicking the link, its a public file.
Hi,
I cant seem to reproduce your issue on my end. the song plays on both url you sent me. see video: https://d.pr/v/aUtf2h

Ah it looks like i renamed those files already inside of S3..
Here's one that I won't touch til you see the issue..
https://pathwey.flywheelsites.com/music/pathwey-iyakuh-woju-nawate/
The URL i inputted into the player is:
https://pathwey.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/Music/MP3s/Iyakuh+%26+Pathwey+-+Woju+Nawate.mp3
And after saving, it becomes this:
https://pathwey.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/Music/MP3s/Iyakuh++Pathwey+-+Woju+Nawate.mp3
As you can see, the MP3 plugin strips out the "%26" in the second half of the URL, which is why it wont play.

Thanks!
Hi,
Yeah, the issue/problem you are describing is exactly what hapening. The library we are using (CMB2) seems to strip the encoded URL.
We will have to check whats wrong here and see if we can get this fixed by the CMB2 author.
As soon as CMB2 fixes it, we will push an update for sure.
Thanks
