Most people here continue to have this problem on cell phones: When the phone goes to sleep, after 30 sec. the podcast stops.
This however does not happen if we use the MixCloud player (now we use this, but it is not essential).
How can I do to publish only the MixCloud player in the podcast, because clicking on the listen button the podcast will not start and the user must be directed to the podcast page. Could you suggest me some solutions.
If we have to use another site and not MixCloud it is not a problem.Thank you very much
As discussed in our previous conversation, I cant seem to be able to reproduce your issue.
When I go on this page: https://www.blackandwhiteradio.it/podcast/mixtime-vol-re-mixtime/ using my mobile phones and click play on our player AND I lock the phone, the track continues to play. If I unlock the phone and click play and then let the phone lock itself, the track continues to play as well. I have been played your track for at least 10 minutes.
I have tested with my Google Pixel 4XL Android with Chrome Browser. I have also tested with iPhone iOS 14 (newest one), with both Chrome and Safari.
You're RIGHT, ABSOLUTELY, it works fine also on my phone perfectly, but the people told to my client isn't work on their devices..So I think if I use an external podcast site (sound cloud ext..)it must be fine!!! it not necessary must be MixCloud, I only would like to understand (if there is some you tutorial) how to use External file playing (Sound Cloud for example)

- or any web server that you control the .htaccess.

p.s. the problem may be caused because the entering into our site by facebook...I dont know. But one possible solution it can be as I asked you before, using external podcast player as MAIN PLAYER.
