Creating a Podcast Shows Archive

I am at my wits' end trying to create an archive for only the episodes from a specific podcast show. I am using Sonaar Music Pro Theme with Elementor Pro and Essential Grid design plugins.

Background: I have produced seven podcasts in the past and am about to launch an eighth. I would like to use a template to create a page for each podcast where the episodes for that podcast (and only that podcast, not all of the podcasts) appear with podcast players.

First, I'm not even sure I understand the difference here between "Podcast Shows" and "Podcast Categories." I found a Page called "Shows - Grid" that contains an Essential Grid that shows all of the podcasts. I have only created two Shows — coded "rbs-xm" and "ndas-cg" — and just two episodes for the first and one for the second, because I'm not interested in doing a whole bunch more data entry until the the theme is complete.

The Shows Page (https://radicalruss.com/shows) (below) works wonderfully.

From this point, however, I am lost. If I click on the second show ("rbs-xm"), I'm taken to a /show/rbs-xm page that's based on a Single Page template I've created in Elementor.

The problem is this: in the right side of the page, I have placed a Sonaar Podcast Archive block, expecting it to display only the two podcast episodes for "rbs-xm". Instead, it shows all of the podcast episodes from every show (below).

That Sonaar Podcast Episodes block defaults to showing all the episodes from every podcast. There is an option to select episodes from a specific podcast, but it forces me to choose one, rather than a dynamic choice of "all the episodes from the podcast coded with the same part of the URL that comes after /show/."

Now, I know that what I am seeking is possible, because when I turn off this template and allow Sonaar's default Show Page to take over, there it is, exactly what I want in the bottom of the left panel (below).

So, now I am stuck. It appears I can't make a template to dynamically display podcast episodes from a specific show. The alternative is to create eight separate podcast pages, each with its own Sonaar Podcast Archive block with the specific podcast selected, and then go back and figure out how to make those Essential Grid covers hyperlink to them.

But I fear doing that, because I must be missing something simple. Also, I'll have to have those eight separate podcast feeds (figuring out how to create the buttons for that should also be an adventure), and I imagine the further away I get from the Sonaar defaults, the more difficult this will be.

I thought this would be easier. I've already used Elementor to successfully code the Blog Posts (I call them "Rants")...

...and I've even been able to create specific Category Archives (this one's "Articles/Alternet") that only show the posts from that Category, like how I thought Shows and Episodes would work...

...and even a completely different layout and heading for one specific Category ("Data").

I sure hope I have just missed something simple, because it seems like the functionality I'm seeking is exactl

Sorry, it seems the screenshots don't carry over...

    Hi,

what you need to do basically is to create 1 category per podcast.

and assign each of your episodes, the correct category.

Then you can use the Podcast Show custom post type, to create show page that will list all the episodes assigned to a specific podcast category. See screenshot https://d.pr/i/eR3iQv

From what i see in your page https://radicalruss.com/show/rbs-xm/ the epsiodes seems the correct ones..I dont see any issues?

    Thanks,
