how to access tracklist from post type

I have mine setup so I can directly add tracks within my general "post" type records. But I don't see how to access these from within the player. I'm using Elementor, and in the options it does not provide me a way to point to the tracklist on the current post.

I know I can make a work around by creating a playlist record and then creating a custom field to link to that record and then I can use that custom field to set the player, but that's twice the work.

You wouldn't have added a way to create add tracks to any post type if there wasn't a way to get that data right?

Well it seems I had an error preventing me from seeing the srmp3_elementor_artweork and srmp3_elementor_tracks options under the Post Custom Field dynamic tag.. but this still only loads artwork or playlist title.. and not the tracks themselves. This is of course when I'm choosing the source as "This Widget."

Do I still have another error or am I missing something?

Ok.. I guess I was wrong about my work around as well since it would only set the title and not the tracks.

I left a comment on your YouTube video since no one has replied here yet.

Seems like the playlist source cannot be set dynamically.. in elementor.. the playlist has to be manually entered. I need dynamic.

    Hi,

    1. enable your custom post type where you want to upload tracks to it: https://d.pr/i/z7QTpV

    2. edit your post and upload tracks to it: https://d.pr/i/zCPU1s

    3. add the elementor widget on your post and make sure to select Playlist post as source and 'Play its own post ID track' option is enabled: https://d.pr/i/O4fmeC

    Thanks,

    Thanks Max..  it's working now!

This is interesting because I didn't have that option before either.. I'm guessing because of the error I was having. It was causing all kinds of things within the Elementor editor to not function or show options for. I just didn't realize it until I noticed things missing.

FYI.. which I will report to Elementor as well.. plugins that were causing my issues were Yoast SEO, Ivory Search and MOJO Marketplace.Pricing Tables.
