I make good use of the video player. If the video player opens, it starts immediatley playing the video. However the video is muted. That kind of defeats its purpose. When I want to watch a video my expectation would be to get sound.
A video cannot be started automatically WITH sound on. It must either be automatically played with mute, or user has to click play and it will start with sound. This is a browser policy introduced a 1 year ago.
The video was set to auto-play and thus, browser will automatically mute the video if auto-play is on. I deactivated auto-play here: https://d.pr/i/ClLlJD
Hi there,
I make good use of the video player. If the video player opens, it starts immediatley playing the video. However the video is muted. That kind of defeats its purpose. When I want to watch a video my expectation would be to get sound.
Is there a way to change this default behavior?
Thanks!
