If I got it right, Do I have to pay $49 to use the most basic function of a music player plugin: “Add a music file”? If not, where is that button?

It looks like a JavaScript conflict.

Could you try something for me? Please deactivate all your plugins except our plugin then see if the issue persists. If not, please reactivate your plugins one by one and see which plugin can cause the conflict.

    Tell me how it goes.

    Thanks,

this plugin......I don’t know if the cost of solving this problem is high. If the cost is not high and you are convenient, hope you can spare some time to fix it. thanks and best wishes~

    Hi,

The issue is because EverlightBox Gallery is using a third party library called CMB2 that we are also using. However, they don't include it correctly in their code which makes every other plugins that use CMB2, break as well.

The author of CMB2 wrote to EverlightBox gallery plugin about this issue but I dont think the author of EvrlightBox gallery plugin fixed the problem. You can read the discussion here:  https://wordpress.org/support/topic/please-use-the-proper-way-to-include-cmb2/

So the only way to have this fixed is by checking with Everlight box why they hide other plugin row with this code: https://d.pr/i/QzhNtJ

    this is a bad practice.

    Thanks,

another little suggestion: If it is convenient, hope you can make the shape of "Synthetic Waveform(faster)" more beautiful in future updates, At least dont be much worse than the "Dynamic Waveform (slower) "

  • fantab01 replied

ah......another little question, if i use external link mp3, the wave can’t be displayed, and the screenshot of F12 is shown like below.

    Hi,

the issue you have is a cors policy permission issue. You are trying to access a media file on an external server which is fine, but your domain name is not allowed to retrieve the media file with Javascript (our Dynamic Waveform use JS to generate the soundwave).

Your media server (https://music.163.com) must allow your domain name (https://fantab01.com/) to connect.

    You have 3 options:

    1) EIther you add CORS policy header on your media server (https://music.163.com). For this, check directly with 163.com
    2) Either you use the synthetic waveform option in WP-Admin > MP3 Player > Settings
    3) Either you host the media file directly on your webserver.

    Thanks,

all right, I choose to use the synthetic waveform to solve that cors policy permission issue, So I want to repeat the suggestion again. Please make the effect of the synthetic wave more beautiful. The "synthetic wave" in the current version is chaotic like a sound wave simulating the noise of the universe. Two comparison pictures are attached below.

If the synthetic wave generation algorithm in the current version is a random algorithm, I suggest to change to another generation algorithm which can make the synthetic wave effect closer to real music, because the current one is too confusing
