    Hi,

this is a video coming from another theme built by IronTemplates...Its not Sonaar theme.

For video tutorial about Sonaar Theme and how to import theme demo Podcrafter, you can watch video tutorials to get started here: https://sonaar.io/video-tutorials/

    Thanks,

    Ah, thank you!

This was the video linked to from the help documentation with the theme!

  • Jeffrey Hart replied

The video just tells me to use the installer. Which I tried first. I went looking for the manual version because I get this error:

The execution failed. Please check error.log

Ok, that because your server times out when you import the demo because it tries to backup your old website first.

To avoid this, first thing I recommend is to import the demo on a fresh Wordpress install. You could use plugin WP Reset to clear/reset your website to a clean install and get started from there.

    Thanks,

    Hi Max,

Ran WP Reset and tried again. Same outcome.

Is it possible to manually upload the demo files?

    Hi,

    yes absolutely,

Here is the file for the theme demo : https://d.pr/f/lSMN2m

To import a theme demo manually, upload (by FTP or Filemanager) demo.zip in folder /wp-content/uploads/fw-backup (create fw-backup if it does not exist), then go to WP-Admin > Tools > Backup, select the file you have uploaded and click restore

    Thanks,

    Ok... getting closer!

Uploaded the file, and ran the restore.

It started fine.. then I get this in the log activity -

    • 1 min ago Image Sizes Restore: The execution failed. Please check error.log

Tried a few times. Same result.

This popped up saying i should try adding the code to the .htaccess and wp-config  - http://manual.unyson.io/en/latest/extension/backups/index.html#litespeed-webserver

Tried with those changes a couple of times, with same result.

    Here you go: http://991zm.hosts.cx/

some images have not been imported because your server is too slow to import them but you will change the images for your own image anyway so that's fine.

    Thanks,
