not sure how I did this, but the "welcome " episode has the subscribe/ follow buttons in light blue, episodes 1 & 2 have the buttons in a different color, and episode 3 has no buttons.
Going forward,how do I get my episodes to display as seen on the "welcome" episode so the buttons are a uniform ( blue in the example) color?

for the fixed menu, It was working..probably that you were seeing a cached version of your site. I recommend you deactivate the cache plugin while you work on your website.

actually, the background is fine, I am trying to change the title color, which is black, and the episode banner/ container?( circled) which is white, to what is displayed to a different gradient in the same fashion as the audio players, and the buttons which should be blue> Speaking of which, the light blue, this is a global color, right?

How do I hide both items, and how do I change the grey color of the title within the episode player? I realize this is a simple task for brainiac developer types, but for us average people, it's pretty confusing...
to change the colors settings, go to WP-Admin > Audio Player & Event Settings > Podcast player

You are not editing the correct widget you are currently editing a native WordPress widget.
You need to be in the Elementor Editor and to be there, you need to click Edit With Elementor. see screenshot: https://d.pr/i/SVDR4E

how /where can listeners read the show notes? are the notes entered in WP or Elementor?
They can click on your episode title so they land on the episode single page.
you can enter the notes by editing the episode in wp-admin > Podcast Episodes

just noticed the text "a podcast for seekers" is partially obscured ( see attached)
To edit the player that is INTO the single episode page, go to wp-admin > Audio players & Event Settings > Podcast Player
To edit the color of the text in the banner, since this settings is enabled: https://d.pr/i/UKPESM
