    I had these messages when the operation failed:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/content/58/9861858/html/wp-content/plugins/sonaar-music-pro/sonaar-music-pro.php on line 91

    I think the issue is because you are using version 4.9 of WordPress.. Its a very old version. WP 5.6 has been released 3 weeks ago.  Please update WP and tell me if it fix the issue.

    I can't upload to 5.6.  It gives me this:

    • You cannot update because WordPress 5.6 requires PHP version 5.6.20 or higher. You are running version 5.3.24.

    While your site is being updated, it will be in maintenance mode. As soon as your updates are complete, your site will return to normal.

    Oh, so you must update your PHP too.

    PHP 5.3 is very not secure (and very old too)! you should upgrade to PHP 7 as soon as possible. Your site will be 2X faster with PHP 7 as well.


    EDIT: to update to PHP 7, please contact your hosting provider.
