    Hello,

my player MP3 doesn't work correctly since the update ( Elmentor, sonaar theme and Elementor Sonaar Addons).

The player  isn't sticky and it disappears when I click on another page.

The auto-play option doesn't work too.

In my console i have le message (not before the update) : "Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: The play method is not allowed by the user agent or the platform in the current context, possibly because the user denied permission.."

Before the update, all plugins worked. I just had a conflict with GRPD Cookie Consent.

In troubleshooting mode, I only enabled : Elementor, Elementor Addons and sonaar theme.

Please, can you help me to solve my problems ?

    Hi,

    you forgot the page URL..

Also, please elaborate on how I can reproduce the issue on my end so I can replicate the same step as you.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Auto-play audio when your page loads is now banned by most desktop and mobile browsers including Chrome and Safari. This is what we call a "Auto-Play Policy". To play audio in a web browser, the user has to interact with the page before audio can play. Interactions is something like clicking a menu, a button, scroll down the page, etc.

The closest thing you can do is to automatically fire the sticky footer player when the page load and then, users will have to click play. To do it, edit your page and select your playlist in the Music dropdown. See screenshot: https://d.pr/i/ouq7Ay

You can read more about the Chrome browser policy here: https://www.theoplayer.com/blog/chrome-autoplay-policy-what-you-need-to-know

For the shop page, its a WooCommerce page and WooCommerce does not support AJAX page loading. its why the page reload and thus, the continuous playback stop.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Auto-play is now controlled by the browser. nothing we can do about it unfortunately. its a browser/user option in most major web browser now.

For the WooCommerce page, it has always been like this. Our theme works perfectly with WooCommerce but since WooCommerce does NOT support AJAX, music stop when visiting a WC page.

You can turn off AJAX so the theme will load like any standard theme by going to WP-Admin > Theme Options > General Options but this will also prevent continuous audio playback indeed.

We have spent countless hours and had several discussion with WooCommerce team about supporting ajax loading. The ball is in their camp right now.

    Thanks,
