Hello, i bought today your mp3 music player pro plug in
I add it to my website wich in PHP8, using Cyanotype wordpress theme : https://ava.diamonds/

I want to put a sticky footer player, from icecast audio stream from Airtime Sourcefabric.

I did it, but there is a lot of problem.
When we load the website, the play button change to pause button.
On mobile the player keep in memory the last time i listen to the radio, and stop the sound.
You say that we can change pages on the website and the sound stay playing, it's wrong, the sound stop each time i load a new page of my website.

Those test are in firefox, in safari the sticky footer player doesn't appear...

Can you help me with those problem? Neither i want a refund, and perhaps try your wordpress theme with AJAX.

Does your website are perfect player with no bug ?

For the moment i am really disappointed with my purchase on your website.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Hi,

could you try to select the waveform type synthetic instead of dynamic in WP-Admin > MP3 Player > Settings. see screenshot: https://d.pr/i/rnAujf

Also, make sure to clear your browser cache.

    Thanks,

    Thanks for your help.

I changed my player into synthetic, and clear my browser's cache.

    It work better.

On firefox, when i change page on my website the player stop and doesn't replay automatically,

On Internet explorer, when i change page on my website the player stop and doesn't replay automatically,

On ipad os 12.5, the play button doesn't want to work, i press it but no sound appear.

in Chrome, when i change page on my website, the sound stop and replay automatically, it's better.
Do you know how to do the automatic replay on firefox ?

i have to try on Safari,

Also when we press pause too long time, the player replay at the moment we stop the stream, finish is memory of stream and can't continu the play. We have to reload the page and repress play.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi,

Auto-play (or Audio resume) behaves differently from browser to browser. This is set by a browser policy.

On Firefox, Safari and IE, auto-play must be enabled by the user in the browser settings. It's not enabled by default and the website cannot change the setting automatically.

As an example, On firefox, you can set auto-play ON here: https://d.pr/i/SEFTn7

Chrome did a better job on this, once the user did interaction with the page (eg: clicked play), then auto-play is then enabled for that site and thus, the audio playback resume when it switch to another page.

This is what we call a "Auto-Play Policy". You can read more about the Chrome browser policy here: https://www.theoplayer.com/blog/chrome-autoplay-policy-what-you-need-to-know

it's ok for firefox, for for Safari it's different the sticky footer player doesn't work at all. On firefox we can press play but the autoplay when we change the page of the website. The problem disappear when we authorize the sound as you told me. But on safari we can't press play. We can't ask the listener to change his parameter for his first visit, he will think the radio does'nt work at all....

    Please downgrade to PHP 7.x

PHP 8 is not fully supported by WordPress yet.

Ok, there is an issue with your feed.

Open this URL in both Chrome AND Safari browser: https://avaradio.out.airtime.pro/avaradio_a

you will notice that the behavior is not the same. On Safari, it download a file. On Chrome, it plays the feed.

Please check with your streaming provider on how to resolve this.

    Thanks,

Thanks a lot  for your help.

    The player work well now.

Do you know of long does the stream can be keep in memory for the browser when we press pause ?

It's like a mystery for me.

Does it's normal : when we want to scroll in the waveform, we clic in the wave form but the place we go in the stream is very approximate ?

I also change the format of my stream, at the beginning it was in ogg vorbis, i changed it to mp3.

I ask my streaming provider for the difference in safari and chrome, i wait for their answer.

    Big thanks!

    Hi,

Along you keep the browser opened, you dont have to worry about the browser memory.

The navigation through the waveform should not be approximate. Where can I see the issue?

    Thanks,
