I started setting up my Wordpress site on a subdomain wp.blackshackrecordings.com and would like to move it to my main domain www.blackshackrecordings.com, now that it is feature complete.
Can you tell me the exact steps, that are necessary on the new databank, to make sure the transfer is working and 100% clean?
I tried it the following way but it didn't work:
- Set up new Wordpress databank on destination domain, install sonaar theme + child theme
- Use Duplicator Plugin to create archive from source wp.blackshackrecordings.com
- Upload Archive to new domain folder, install via installer.php
=> Problem: None of the contents are in the new databank....perhaps you can point me towards some problems, that might occur with sonaar in general.

Every hosting are different and some have some migration tools available to help you. I'm not really familiar with site migration
The best person to help you in this is the people who manage your server/DB. Please check directly with your web hosting support team.

Managed to migrate it. The trick was to empty the destination folder completely
before installing the prepared wp files.
