    Hello

I am doing my site quite well, but with some strange things with your plugin

I could get around most of them, but there is still one i would like some help.

I'm working with the sticky player with continuous play

So when i laucn a podcast and then i change of page, the player stay at the good timing, but it stops. I would like to keep it playing. I would be best if there is no pause during the page changing, but i'm okay with that, it is not that bad

    Thanks !

    Hi Jonathan,

Make sure that Enable Continuous Player is enabled in WP-Admin > MP3 Player > Settings: https://d.pr/i/W7XZKn

This option will automatically resume the audio playback. In works fine with Chrome.

On Firefox and safari, user must allow Auto-play in their browser so the player automatically play when it returns.

If you are looking for no-cut playback when you switch page, you will have to use a WordPress theme that offer AJAX page loading.

In order to have continuous audio playback across your website without absolutely no interuption, your pages must be loaded with AJAX. A great example is with our themes (https://sonaar.io/wordpress-themes/). They are all ajaxified and perfectly work with continuous audio playback.

    Hi max

    Continuous player is well enabled

When trying it on chrome i have seen that i have other issues that i don't know where they come from. The player works well when i am logged in in wordpress, but not in private navigation in both edge and firefox

My theme is Divi which is ajax enabled, i guess, i have contacted the support for that

  • Jonathan replied

It seems that there is an error 404...

when i click on play, if i look at the js console, it is loading an old file that i have updated. The name of the file is no longer the same, i have updated the file name on the playlist, so the post id is the same, but when i launch it it is looking for the older file

    Hi,

Divi is not an ajax-driven theme. It loads its page in a very standard way...not ajax.

When I visit your website and click play on the homepage and switch to the about page, the audio resume correctly. This is with chrome.

On edge and Firefox, you must allow auto-play in your browser settings.

for the error 404, please elaborate on steps on how I can reproduce the issue on my end.

Your server keep crashing by the way.

    Thanks,

Okay now that i have backup my website, i am truing to get it work like it did with Divi.

I would like so to keep divi builder with the theme, it looks possible.

But i can't fin a way to add players into the pages without elementor. Does this work ? : https://sonaar.ticksy.com/article/15282

Specially, does the javascript event do work like in the mp3 player pro ?

And finally, i have tried to create a podcast, but only the wave color seems to be customized. Everything keeps white/grey. What could be wrong ?

    1) You will need to use the shortcode and its attribute to add player to your pages.

Refer to the article here: https://sonaar.ticksy.com/article/15282

    2) The javascript calls works fine, especially with MP3 Player Pro.

    3) Here is what I see: https://d.pr/i/OcuoVE

Perhaps try to clear your browser cache.

I strongly recommend you import a theme demo to get started with our theme.

What I always recommend when using a new WordPress theme is to develop the "new" website on a staging server with a fresh copy of WordPress. So start with a clean copy of WordPress, install the theme and its demo. By doing this, your existing website will continue to run, and you will have all the time you want to develop/design the new website on your staging server.

You could also export/import the old blog posts of your old website onto your new website by going to WP-Admin > Tools > Import/Export.

When you are ready to launch your new website, you will just have to point your domain name to the staging server so it becomes your new "live" server.

    Do you have additional questions?

    Thanks,

    Hello !
Now i have redone the site with the new theme on the test server, which is really nice !

But now i have to rebuild it "clean" on the good server, but i still can't import the theme. I leave you the log infos in a private message

I have another question, now that i have bought the theme, i do not need the mp3 player pro plugin, but it is too late to get a refund. I there any way to ask for a commercial gesture ?

    Thanks

for now i try to re-import everything manually, even if the export settings option for the theme doesn't work, so please, don't reinitialize it by importing the new theme !

    Hi Jonathan,

Alright. From what I understand, you dont want us to import the theme demo because you are working on it, correct?

As for the refund, since you've bought the plugin on January 31th and considering we are April 5th, I cannot refund, im very sorry.

    Thanks,

    Max from the Sonaar.io Crew

  • Jonathan replied

    yes, it is correct

As it is not very clear that the plugin works with continuous playing only on ajax enabled websites, i think it is not very fair

    Hi,

It has continuous playback but using cookies.

See this article that explain the difference: https://sonaar.io/tips-and-tricks/continuous-audio-player-on-wordpress/

Also, we mention this in the FAQ of the player. see screenshot https://d.pr/i/vhbTuK

Okay, my bad, i didn't watched this one, i have just read the comparison between free and pro plugin, maybe for other dummies like me you should put an asterisk there that explains that doesn't work as well as the theme

    Hi,

Make sure to use a square image if you want to fit the whole square black box.

    Thanks,
