2.3.1 Update Issue

Was excited to see the new update - until I installed it. It lost the license and I could not figure out where to re-install the license key. It just wanted me to purchase the pro version all over again. It also lost all of my current playlists and the short codes that trigger them on the "Listen Now" page of the website. I upgraded the basic player first, then the pro version. Not sure if the order of the update makes any difference? There was no "License" tab on the menu after updating. So I've reverted back to previous version though I'd love to give the new version a try. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong, what's going on, or HELP!  Thanks. Don

    Hi,

Is both free and pro version up to date and activated?

Make sure MP3 Music Player By Sonaar is activated and version 2.3

And MP3 Music Player Pro is activated and version 2.3.1

If it still does not work, please provide me access to your WP-Admin

    Thanks,

It appears the pro plugin had/has a duplicate entry. I activated the other one and that solved the problem. I assume it's safe to delete this duplicate? (see attached screen shot)

Also, just FYI, I see recent discussion and your list of tested streaming services. For what it's worth, I've been using Cloudup to stream our MP3 show files since October with absolutely no problems. You may want to add Cloudup to your list as it's a sold and free service (of which I have absolutely no affiliation) that works great with your player.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi,

Yes, its safe to delete. Perhaps your plugin folder was renamed, that's is why you've seen a duplicate. I don't really know what happened here.

Thanks for your recommendation of Cloudup. i have added it to our listsmile.png
