Is there a way for me to put some custom code somewhere so that when people play one of my tracks, it modifies the CSS? Basically, I want to insert some JavaScript to change the background of the page. I have a few playlists on a page, and depending on which playlist is playing I would love to have the background change.

This would require some custom js/css programmation and is a little bit beyond the scope of our free support.
For your info, you can put your custom css in the default WordPress customizer.. The customizer is located in WP-Admin > Apperance > Customize > Additional CSS

I think it would take us around 1 hour for prototype and 1 additional hour max for final-touch, so its max 2 hour job. We charge $80 per hour.
Some issues that will arise:
- Your playlist text is white. What happens when you will have the fullscreen image background of your white album cover (you gonna have a white text over a white background)
- Your image albums are square. here is a quick screenshot of what it can looks like with a big widescreen monitor: https://d.pr/i/ljXMTl
I think you are right. It is probably unreasonable since the album covers can be of all types... I greatly appreciate you taking the time to look into it. As for the rate, that is no problem, however, I think I need to wait until I figure out a good solution on my end... Thanks so much for your help, I really absolutely love my Sonaar!
