Problem with output

The output of the play button screws up when set to continuous play. This is really annoying. I just purchased. When I select continuous (using brave browser) and go from page to page, the play button shows behind the visualizer.

    Hi,

Do you have same issue in incognito window in a different browser such ad Chrome?

If yes, perhaps it's a JavaScript conflict.

Could you try something for me? Please deactivate all your plugins except MP3 Music Player + Pro, then see if the issue persists. If not, please reactivate your plugins one by one and see which plugin can cause the conflict.

    Tell me how it goes.

    Thanks,

I'll try tomorrow morning, thankyou. However, I have a footer added somewhere. I need to track down that. It may be the fix.

  • Robert Ellis replied

Hello, and thankyou for the prompt reply. I've tried this and also removed the footer which I had felt could maybe be the cause of the problem. I furthermore considered that perhaps My use of the internet download manager extension for Brave might also a problem causing spacing issues due to the fact that it adds a graphical download graphic. With that also disabled, the issue happens less and less. It does still happen however and I'd hope staff would check into replicating the error. I'm a web dev with 20 years experience who used to own sddepot.com. I was going to make My own music player, but it's convenient that your company has made one. Is it possible however that the initial playtime could be sped up.

Have your people ever tried using chunk file for caching and replay? It's what youtube does and it can significantly affect loadtime. Something to consider because if you can't do it; I'll be your competition offering a similar, faster product in about 6 months if you can't.

    Hi Robert,

The issue you have is caused by one of your script that inline some CSS in your page and conflict with one of our class called .play.

    See video: https://d.pr/v/bKsCPP

You can see the inline CSS here: https://d.pr/i/rZhef5

I don't know where that script is coming from however, sorry.

For the chunk file for caching, we have not experienced this yet. If we receive more user requests about this, its something we will add to our roadmap and release in a future update for sure. We develop and keep adding new features depending our customer requests. Its a LOT of work, but I think we do a great job on adding new features.

    Cheers,

    Thanks,

Yeah, you guys do a great job, no doubt about that. I just have many years experience and already made a similar product that I could dust off for audio and video that already does the same thing. It's 11 years old but will work. Let Me know if you guys just want to buy the source files. Assuming you implement them I won't have to make one Myself.

    Hi,

Do you have any working examples of it?

    Thanks,

It's actually for an old php version 4. It's 11 years old, and you'd likely need to find an old version of the subdreamer cms to test it. But I have all of the code which would work for you just fine. Subdreamer cms was an up and comer while wordpress was getting its start back in 2007.

Like I said, old school but the technique still works. I'd hired a professional programmer named Tobias Teschner who I'd recommend anyone to hire by the way who came up with the code. I'd paid him 2-2.5k at the time for everything. Teschner owned a company con-dev making products for the office database product SQR runner (the db before mySQL).

Either way, if it was something you couldn't work with I'd refund; I'm established and have a business online. Good relations are a must always.

I'm confused. You want a refund if l don't buy it? What does not work with our plugin exactly?

    Thanks,

No I mean if your company bought the code, and your company could not use it; Id provide a refund.

Because I'd like the function, obviously I could not ask the entire sum I paid to have it made; only a tenth of that.

And you guys could set My service tickets as lifetime and for four sites and I'd be happy. Less work for me and I can concentrate on other things.

    Hi Robert,

thanks for the offer but I'm gonna pass for now because we have already set a roadmap for the next 3 months and we won't have time to fit this feature into the schedule. Also, we had not received much demand regarding this, but one sure thing is that Im gonna take notes of your email and if we have more time or increasing requests about it, Ill let you know for sure.

    Have a great day,

    Thanks,

Yes, thanks for noticing the issue with the play class. I'll take a look and see if it helps.

  • Robert Ellis replied

So, while this is helpful, perhaps in the future your company would consider changing .play css to .sonaar-play or something similar, because the youtube lyte player is popular.

  • Robert Ellis replied

So, the next evolution of this continuous player would be the option to place the design above it in an iframe, and for an on-state javascript to use that url in the address bar, like in the way of ajax and for the history states to be saved?. There's a few challenges to make that occur and doing that would erase My need of finding an all ajax theme.

The sonaar theme looks great but I need full edd support, and I don't use frontend submissions; rarely does anyone unless it has been heavily modded by a programmer they hired.

I'll let you know if I achieve that with the iframe and history states.
