This message is from Siteground, regarding the slow site speed for www.closertovenus.com:
The lower response rate of your website is because it is not being cached by our dynamic caching module due to the presence of "no-cache" headers in the application's response:
curl -sIX GET https://closertovenus.com
HTTP/2 200 cache-control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate
pragma: no-cache
x-proxy-cache: MISS
x-proxy-cache-info: 0 NC:000000 UP:SKIP_CACHE_SET_COOKIE
The directives not to store cache are caused by a cookie on your website, as is visible in the application response provided above. Our caching service honors such headers and it will not cache a page that returns them. We cannot specify which module in your application added this specific cookie, but in most cases this is a third-party plugin and/or a theme feature.
In order to investigate what is causing this, you can start by disabling the plugins one by one and after each disabled plugin to test the cache status. Once you receive a confirmation that the page is cached this will reveal to you that the problematic plugin (the last one you disabled). You can then either revise the plugin's settings and see if these headers can be removed or contact its plugin developers for further assistance.
Afterward your website's response time should be much faster. If you require any further investigation on your website's speed, you can post a "Site Slow" ticket from your User Area -> Help Center -> Contact us so we can assist you further.
Feel free to contact us again by opening a new ticket should you require any hosting-related assistance.
Unfortunately, im not very familiar with speed optimizations. Depending the hosting you use, there are many ways to customize it regarding your needs. All servers are differents.
You should hire an expert to help you optimize your site for speed as this is beyond the scope of our theme support because its too much narrowed to the assets you use, plugins, servers, etc..
One sure thing is that I heard that Siteground is really not the fatest server..If you want to see a major difference, switch to Cloudways's VULTR HF server. Its the day and night.
I switched 5 sites to Siteground in the last 2 months and every site is is faster except the site with your theme, so it does not appear this is a speed optimization issue. This is from the developer who built the site:

like product cart page e
I'm not sure why and where it is placed in this theme

would be best to forward this to the theme devs "
Sorry Johnny,
Please read this article about speed issues and optimizations: https://sonaar.ticksy.com/article/13839/
The product cart pages are provided through Woocommerce plugin.. Not our theme.
Thanks,
