Yes Continuous Player is for when we navigate through the site, but it still work if you left the site and you come back.
"Enable Sticky Player on every pages" feature will popup the sticky player on every pages. If I have understand well your request, that is exactly what you dont want, so, yes, you have to disable it.

Please go to wp-admin>mp3 player>settings
You probably have enable a Sticky Player on every pages see here
You have to disable this feature.
And you have also enable the continuous player see here.
This option will open the sticky player if the sticky was opened on your last visit.
Dont forget to clear cookies or open a incognito mode, if you want to see your site as a visitor who visit your site for the first time.
