I can't seem to figure this out. I tried your way and was not abler to get rid of the purple background behind the mobile menu. This menu was under Elementor - Templates - Offcanvas Moonlight but when you edit with Elementor - Select - Style and change the background, there is still purple behind the menu towards the bottom.
When I change the color in the background overlay, there is a small blank area of purple at the bottom.
No. The menu that you find in Elementor Templates should have NO background (or transparent background).
You need to set the background by editing the OFF-Canvas Widget (which basically load the Elementor Template into it). To edit the offcanva widget, see screenshot https://d.pr/i/7k8r5E

I am unable to change the background color on the mobile Menu and on the Header menu on pages show through the Mobile view.

Edit your header with Elementor in WP-Admin > Header and Footer and edit with Elementor.
Then go on mobile view and select your off-canva widget > style tab. see screenshot https://d.pr/i/7k8r5E
