I have spent HOURS and DAYS trying to get the SERIES and EPISODE information to show in the Podcast List in Elementor or PHP or anything. Why is showing SERIES and EPISODE not STANDARD and so hard. I just had my whole website built by some nice people but I may have to dump mine for something in ThemeForest called RESONATOR that can group by Series then Episodes. This should be one of the most important features of any podcast theme but I got about 6 themes they all seem to lack this info, SEASON and EPISODE should be a block I can place anywhere. It IS sent over in the RSS!:
While you cannot show native feed seasons and episode tag information WITHIN the Podcast Archive widget, (this is a feature we could probably develop soon), however you can display categories.
You could create 1 podcast category called Season 1, another category called Season 2, etc.. and assign your Season 1 episodes to podcast category Season 1..
Then add multiple Podcast Archive Elementor widget on a page to list all your season in 1 place. See quick example I did: https://d.pr/i/j16pGG
