Because of wordpress svgs can not easily be uploaded as custom icons for your music player and wordpress generates an error message. If we try to upload a ong your system kicks back a svg only error.

Steaming platforms like apple music and Tidal are not represented so they require a custom logo to be uploaded unless you plan on updating these outdated images with newer more relevant platforms. Do you have a solution on the way or a fix for this?

    Thnak you.

    Hi,

By default, WordPress allows you to upload image, audio, and video file formats, but SVG is not among them.

Please read this article to enable SVG upload

    Thanks,

Hi Max, Thanks for your reply. I am aware of the capability but it is not the best solution and I believe creates some vulnerabilities. Is it too difficult for you guys to have it added into an update so that more of the modern logos are included as options? Napster and Tidal are the highest paying artist platforms not to mention apple music has been itunes for some time and your icons are due for an update.

Thanks for the consideration. Happy to supply svgs for you if needed.

    Hi Mark,

can you send me a screenshot of the backend where the logos are missing? Just to make sure we are on the same page.
Ill then discuss with our team if we can add the Tidal and Napster logos

    Thanks,

    Hi Mark,

The pre-defined icons that we list in the dropdown are taken from FontAwesome, the biggest and most popular web icon library, but some icons are not yet available from this library.

Its why we have added the custom SVG upload so you can upload any svg you'd like.

I dont see any threath or security issue by using this tool. Perhaps you can disable SVG upload once you will have uploaded your own svg ?

    Thanks,
