We are using the MP3 plugin for a radio station - the audio is streaming fine and we are very happy with it - what would be the icing on the cake would be for the metadata on the player to update with the shows?
We upload all of the shows in hour blocks to an Airtime server. We have used a theme that updated the playlist live in the past but it went south. I am wondering if there are any plans, or if it is possible, to allow the MP3 plugin to update its text as the broadcast progresses?
its in our roadmap to use the metadata from Icecast/Shoutcast streams but we don't have any ETA yet. For Airtime, if we receive more user request about it, sure we will add it to our roadmap for a future plugin update.
