Why cant you select a place in the audio track that you want to listen from? I've paid for pro - thinking it would enable this functionality, but all i can do is add a 15 or 30 second skip button. Surely there is a way to allow user to select anywhere in the track to listen from?
What i am asking is for example on youtube, you can skip to any section of a video. On the MP3 player, you cant skip or select anywhere on the audio / song to play from.
When you click anywhere on the soundwave, nothing happens
it does not allow to scroll within this file even with the native browser player.
It looks like an issue with whether your MP3 encoding, or your server htaccess.
If you try the MP3 attached below (unzip it on your computer first of course), can you skip through it ? If yes, then the issue is with your MP3. If no, then the issue is with your server.
Ok, this means that your server is serving the file as a stream and not as a progressive download. This is a very rare situation and to be honest, it's the first time I see this.
We have many users (overs 20k) and nobody reported this issue yet.

Hi Jamie,
Im not sure to correctly understand the question.
You can put any MP3 feed/external links when editing your playlist. see screenshot: https://d.pr/i/BHH81S
Quick starting guide in this article to get started with our MP3 Player.

Hi,
that should work unless its a live stream of course.
What is your URL so I can reproduce the issue you have ?
Thanks,

Hi,
If I check the source of your MP3: https://development.boldcreativeagency.com//fabbagirls//wp-content//uploads//2022//03//GIMME.mp3
it does not allow to scroll within this file even with the native browser player.
It looks like an issue with whether your MP3 encoding, or your server htaccess.
If you try the MP3 attached below (unzip it on your computer first of course), can you skip through it ? If yes, then the issue is with your MP3. If no, then the issue is with your server.

It works because probably your mp3 is in your browser cache the second time so the skip through is working.
If you try the MP3 attached from the last message (unzip it on your computer first of course), can you skip through it ?
Thanks,

Ok, this means that your server is serving the file as a stream and not as a progressive download. This is a very rare situation and to be honest, it's the first time I see this.
We have many users (overs 20k) and nobody reported this issue yet.
As you can see, it happens not only with our player but with all native browser player, and this happens only on your website (https://development.boldcreativeagency.com/fabbagirls/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/GIMME.mp3)
You will need to check with your hosting support to see why MP3 are automatically streamed.
See the difference in a native browser window. In your server, we don't see the correct time duration: https://development.boldcreativeagency.com/fabbagirls/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/GIMME.mp3
vs in OUR server, we do see the correct time duration (see screenshot: https://d.pr/i/31ie7F): https://beatstore.sonaar.io/rebirth/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2022/03/Meaningless-Charlotte-Cardin.mp3
That is definitely a server setting but Im not very familiar with this. I recommend you check directly with your hosting support.
