Yes Wav is ok, but it produce very large files. For users with slow connection or on mobile, it can takes a while to load. That the disadvantage of using wav files over MP3 in the Internet world.
For the hosting, I recommend using the same server than your Wordpress server to load files faster. If you use an external server (such as Amazon AWS or S3), its ok, but its a bit slower than hosting "'locally"
Hello,
What are the best solutions/websites for hosting our high quality audios (aiff or WAV)?
Will both of these work with your plugin?
Thank you,
Lars
Hi,
Wav is ok but from 100% cross-browser compatibility, we recommend using MP3.
Thanks,

Hello Max,
Thank you for letting me know.
Does your plugin work with WAV then? How about aiff?
Also, which hosting solution would you suggest for maintaining the quality of our audios? (e.g. Amazon AWS, etc.)
Thank you,
Lars
