    Hi there,

    I've just purchased sonaar.

I would like more info on the sticky player. I don't understand how I link music to it. I would like to make sure it doesn't play automatically as well. Can you please tell me where I find the info?

I assume the sticky player is the player that is at the bottom of each page? Some more instructions on how to manage it would be great.

    Thank you.

    Hi Mel,

you need to create playlist in WP-Admin > MP3 Player > Playlist, first.

Once your playlist and music tracks are setup, you can display the sticky footer player when your page loads (but it wont play automatically, it will just show up). You can do that in WP-Admin > MP3 Player > Settings > Sticky Player and click the magnify glass to look which playlist you want to load in the player.See screenshot: https://d.pr/i/D47Ce4

You can also place an audio player in any of your pages using Elementor, Gutenberg Block or Shortcode. See documentation here.

Once the audio player widget is present in your page, when you click play, the sticky player will show up as well. You can disable the sticky player if you want to.

    Thanks,

Thank you but I'm really confused.

I bought the Apex template. It has the player at the bottom of each page, I assume it's the sticky player? If it needs an mp3 playlist then what is it playing currently as part of the template. I want to connect it to my music and stop it from automatically playing.

I'm a seasoned joomla user, first time I've used WordPress in years and I'm struggling with the lack of template direction.

    Help is appreciated 🙂

Sorry for the confusion. The documentation I sent you refer to the MP3 Audio Player Pro plugin for which you have opened a ticket. But now I realize that you are looking for helps regarding the Apex theme.

Yes the player at the bottom of each page is known as the sticky player.

To edit which playlist will be displayed in the sticky player when the page load, edit your player widget on your homepage with Elementor. From there, you will be able to choose which playlist to be loaded, and decide if you want to automatically launch the sticky player on page load. See screenshot https://d.pr/i/0RhMev

    Thanks,

    Hello Max

Thanks for your response a while ago, I have all working nicely.

However, I want the sticky player to sit at the bottom of the page - ready to go. I don't want it to play automatically. Can you please tell me how to make that happen?

If I select Yes to 'Pop up player in the footer ...' then it is there but plays as soon as the page loads. I'd prefer the visitor to the site to press play themselves.

    Hi,

I tagged this ticket as a bug fix so that our development team can add this to our roadmap for a future update.

In the meantime, you can deactivate this option https://d.pr/i/X0sJO1 and activate a sticky player from the page settings and you wont have the issue: https://d.pr/i/cgfw82

    Thanks,
