I know it's not really related to your theme, but maybe you know the answer:
I followed your tutorial on how to setup a youtube playlist with essential grid,
But after entering my channel ID and the api key it still says "ajax error: cannot fetch youtube playlist"
If you look at the attachement, I got the youtube plugin data api and it's enabled.
On the second attachement, you can see that I clicked on "credentials" to get my api key, and this is the one I put in the field "Api key" in the essential grid (attachement 3)...
Could it be a restriction problem? I don't remember setting up any restrictions anyway but maybe there are some by default?
I didn't put any IP address because I don't know which one should I put so I only put an http restriction with the address of my website followed by the "*" as google suggested. (see attachement)
Thx for your reply, I've installed the youtube plugin you suggested and it can find my channel and can also find my playlist when I click on the playlist tab (see attached)
Actually, since I started a custom grid from scratch because I accidentally removed the essential grid using youtube that was included in the theme, should I have any kind of code in the ajax tab?
As a general question how do i retrieve some pages from the original theme I bought?
No code should be in the ajax tab. Here the youtube grid as attachment. Unzip it. Go to wp-admin>essential grid>import/export To import the ess_gird.json file

Hi Nicolas,
When the grid settings is loadingm do you see this message "Ajax Error: could not fetch youtube playlist"?
Thanks,
Alexandre from the Sonaar.io Crew
Correct I see that message exactly
Hi Nicolas,
Be sure the server IP is set here https://d.pr/i/7rcN5p

Yet it still doesn't work..
btw I always clear the cache of my browser "chrome" every time I save any changes to my api key
and I always log out and login to my wordpress to see if the changes work in elementor..
Are you able to stream the youtube playlist with another plugin as https://wordpress.org/plugins/yourchannel/ ?
Thanks,

But elementor is still saying the same error.

Hi Alexandre,
I have imported the file you gave me, I replaced both my api key and the channel ID, and I still get the same error.
Hi Nicolas,
You should try to create another API.
Thanks,

Thanks Alexandre, I got rid of the key and created a new one without any restrictions whatsoever
and it finally worked ;)
I will try to set restrictions again later if needed.
Well Done Nicolas.
