As you said, th CTA buttons must be set directly in our custom fields. We don't have options to add CTA "on-the-fly" with the shortcode. On my end, I tagged this ticket as a feature request so that our development team can consider this option, but this doesn't guarantee that Sonaar will indeed implement this feature.
The meta info (artist, albums, trackname) are automatically pulled from the MP3 file and must meet 2 conditions: 1) it must be present in your MP3 file, indeed. 2) The MP3 must be hosted on the same domain URL than your player. This is for security reason and we don't have controls on this.
Why does the shortcode lag so far behind templates and post fields?
For example: the shortcode offers no ability to add a CTA button such as 'download', or manage the artist name or other meta information.
Are their any plans to enhance this?
