I have been experimenting a delay between one track to another. I upload a 128kb mp3 audio files in all my products. My doubt fall when you play the second track when you don't pause or stop the first one. Does The first one cancel the streaming or keep loading while the second is loading too?
With a poor internet connection, I could realized of delay between one track to another, also I saw some errors on the console when a inspect this action , when you don't pause the first and just go to play the second one.
You right, all mp3 download request have to be completed before starting a new download. This cause a delay if we have a poor internet connection. I m adding this task to our roadmap. Be aware you can prevent this behavior by using the "external Mp3" source file option. https://d.pr/i/dgmks4
I tried "external Mp3" source file option with a poor connection, passing from one song to another and the second song wait until the first song finished downloaded, so it happens the same with that option.
Hi Arturo, Sorry, my mistake, I wanted to say "This will be fixed on a future plugin update". Maybe I have mixed two tickets here, because I talked about "theme release", not about the plugin. I have added this to our roadmap, but this will not be part of the next plugin update.
I think you don't fix this problem un the last update of your plug in.
So, I remind you the problem that the plugin have.
So if you reproduce a song and you want to jump to the next one, the first one don't stop to do streaming, so if you have poor internet, the second one wouldn't playable because the first one is streaming and loading the first song.
So I think is a good idea, stop to load the beat that you don't want to hear and start to load the second.
The behavior you are witnessing should not be occurring. If a new track is initiated while another is still loading, the loading of the previous track should be interrupted. Can you please provide more details on where you are observing the issue?

Hi Alexandre,
I tried "external Mp3" source file option with a poor connection, passing from one song to another and the second song wait until the first song finished downloaded, so it happens the same with that option.
This will be fix on the next theme release
