Hello. The sonar theme was purchased once and installed in the specified web page a few days ago we found that the site is not working and the theme requires reactivation with a key. After checking your account, we see that the theme is not active and you require it to be purchased again for the same amount and for a period of 1 year. What does this mean? how since 2019 when we purchased the theme now we have to purchase or make a payment again Why is this necessary? What new is different to have to pay 69 pounds again? We are waiting for your answer, which we ask to be correct and comprehensive enough because everything else is more like a scam :(

I asked you for an answer Why is it necessary to pay for something that was purchased 3 years ago without any additional payments being indicated? I haven't asked about what my options are at this point...thanks for the info though. Please answer specifically the question - Why?
As a customer, we have not received any notifications from you to change the rules regarding the product, which, as I mentioned, we purchased and not rented for a certain period of time. Paying to keep the product in line with the new wordpress changes is one thing, buying the same product you already bought is just fraud and extortion.

You are not required to pay for updates and if your subscription is cancelled, you won't be charged. That means you won't have access to updates.
Sometimes, new version or wordpress, third party plugins or PHP version might break some functions in the theme or some script become deprecated and we fix them as soon as we find issues. Those fixes are included in the updates.
So if your site is not working, perhaps you have updated something else (eg wordpress, third party plugins or server) which perhaps breaks the theme to function correctly.
