    Hi,

I would like to build the player such as "EXAMPLE 093" with only one modification.
I want to replace "ARTIST" with "GENRE" and keep the column "Custom Filters with GENRE and MOOD + the Tags Filter for the instruments.

I bought the MP3 Player Pro Lifetime a few days ago and already had the "SoundMan" template.

My question is: Is it possible to create a player such as the "example 093" without buying ACF pro, Elementor pro, and JetEngine?

Knowing that my site only needs to manage audio players with a search engine, nothing else. I only have basic programming knowledge.
I hope to be clear enough.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi!

Yes it's possible to do that.

Could you please provide me access to your wp-admin and I'll set it up for you.

    Thanks,

    Please check this page: https://cochiserecordstudio.com/sonaar-music-player-with-filters/

    ------------------------------------------------------
The filters are built in WP-Admin > Custom Fields. See screenshot https://d.pr/i/YSP6R9
You can add as many filters/values you want.

    ------------------------------------------------------
To assign the filter's values to your playlist, edit your playlist and you will see the fields available. see screenshot: https://d.pr/i/SZysNo

    ------------------------------------------------------

To add new filter dropdowns on your page, edit with Elementor your page and select the Filter widget: https://d.pr/i/oY5mwQ

To display values in your tracklist,  edit with Elementor your page and select the Audio Player Widget: https://d.pr/i/43cDca

    Hi Max,

Not sure if I should create a ticket for a different question...

How do I get the "MP3 player search" to see my info from excerpt playlists?
I wrote some more keywords and tags there.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Currently, the search function will only search your tracktitle and custom fields.

You should use custom fields (ACF) to insert those keywords, instead of using the excerpt.

    Tell me if that works.

    Thanks,

Max, I tried several scenarios without any success. I must admit that my skills are minimal.

I don't lose hope, can you help me a bit more?

    Thanks,

Sure. What do you have difficulties with? Have you added the custom fields option in wp-admin > custom fields?

If so, have you edited your playlist to select the value?

Then have you added the filter in your Elementor page?

    Thanks,

I did not add the filter in Elementor, I thought that it could fetch the keywords from the playlist.

    I am on it!
    Thank you!

Based on your suggestion and my understanding, I'm afraid the filter is not an option in this case.

I want to attach from 3 to 10 keywords per track.
I have more than 1000 tracks now, it doesn't seem possible to me that way.
Do you think I can add another search box in the MP3 player with dynamic tags or something fetching the excerpt? Just an idea.

    Thanks,

I don't understand what you mean by "more than 1000 tracks now, it doesn't seem possible to me that way.".

Do you mean because it will take a lot of time entering the keywords for 1000 tracks and you already have your 1000 excerpt ready?

    Thanks,

Great news, I managed to do what I wanted so far. Your words resonate with me and realized I could hide a few of Custom Fields. So, the quantity of keywords doesn't matter anymore.

I don't feel proud and I apologize for wasting your time.

    Thanks,

    No problem !

In the future plugin update (4.1), you wont have to hide columns...all ACF values you've set for your post will automatically be filterable/searchable
